From Montreal Pierre-Elliot Trudeau International Airport
There is a shuttle service between Montreal airport and Sherbrooke. Visit Aeroshuttle to book a ride online.

By bus
Trandev Limocar offers interurban transportation between Montreal and Sherbrooke 7 days a week. The Express Line has a stop directly on the campus of the Université de Sherbrooke.
Please note that the departure schedule is announced at least one month in advance. Therefore, it will be possible to purchase bus tickets for the Montreal-Sherbrooke route (round trip) around mid-June. To be quickly informed of the availability of the July schedule, it is suggested that you subscribe to the Transdev Limocar newsletter.
La Québécoise group offers interurban transportation also 7 days a week between Montreal, Trois-Rivières, and Sherbrooke.

Accommodation
Au Campus
Single and double occupancy rooms have been reserved at Au Campus, our university onsite student accommodation service, which offers rooms at very competitive rate.
Reservation (minimum 2 nights):
- single occupancy: CAN$35/night
- double occupancy: CAN$45/night
These fees do not include applicable taxes (GST, QST, and accommodation taxes).
These special rates are valid as long as rooms are available.
These discounted rates are only available to participants registered for FOIS 2023 or the ISAO 2023 Summer School. Information on how to take advantage of these rates will be sent by email when you register for one of these events.
Nearby food and transportation services
At 10 minutes walking from the Au Campus accommodation service, you have access to restaurants and a grocery store. In the Pavillon multifonctionnel located on the main campus, a small grocery store is also available.
Au Campus is 5 minutes walk from the buildings where the activities will take place.
Grand Times Hotel Sherbrooke
This 4-star hotel is ideally located on the shore of the Lac des Nations and in the heart of downtown Sherbrooke. It is well-deserved by public transportation and nearby most of the best restaurants in town.
Of note, a very popular music and pyrotechnic festival, the Fête du Lac des Nations, will take place in the park nearby the Hotel, with music shows and fireworks every night, from July 18 to 23.
A number of rooms have been reserved on Grand Times hotel with preferred fees for ISAO and FOIS participants:
- 10 rooms during ISAO summer school : the deadline to book one of these rooms is May 10th 2023.
- 25 rooms during FOIS conference : the deadline to book one of these rooms is May 17th 2023.
IMPORTANT: The deadline has been extended to May 26, 2023.

Nearby food and transportation services
At 10 minutes walking from the Grand Times Hotel Sherbrooke, you have access to coffee shops, pastry shops, bars, and several restaurants.
A bus stop across the street from the hotel allows you to take the 8 or 9 bus line which takes you directly to the main campus of the Université de Sherbrooke. The trip takes about 20 minutes.
